When life isn’t going your way, press on. When you feel your dreams haven’t come true, press on.
When the enemy is against you, press on. When you’ve persevered for years and seen no victories, press on.
What else can you do? Give up? Lose hope? Be a quitter?!
No. We are fighters! We are warriors. We overcome.
Warriors are the ones who achieve. We may not win every battle. We may get beat up and feel our battle wounds.
But life is worth fighting for. Your faith, families, passions, businesses, dreams, relationships… They are all worth fighting for.
Don’t give up now. Look how far you’ve come. Look at all the times you wanted to stop and you didn’t.
You may not see the legacy you’re leaving behind… But if you’re doing this with God by your side- you’re forging something unique to YOU and your life.
There’s only one you. One who loves the unique set of things you do. One who shines in the way you do, who is good at the things people tell you you’re good at.
Believe it. Don’t moan and look down and say to yourself, “I’ve done what I can. No need to keep trying, pushing, and fighting. My time is over. I’ve done all I can.”
You haven’t. As long as you have breath in your lungs you haven’t done all you can. God has you here for a reason.
And if you don’t know the reason look to Him for today’s guidance. If you listen to His nudge about reaching out to a loved one, continuing to work hard at your job, taking on that challenge you don’t think you’re ready for…or simply enjoying the nature around you. Well, His instructions for today is all you need.
“Do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself.”
Matt 6:34
Don’t worry but keep persevering.
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap if we faint not.”
Gal 6:9
You will reap results for everything you’ve been working for. You may not see it right away.
It may spring up in random places. A business that slowly takes off. A relationship that slowly grows better. For me, my health that makes slow progress. But if we quit we will never reap results.
“We will reap if we faint not.”
