Devotional #21-Nature declares God’s glory

Nature is God’s artwork. If you find the wonders of nature pulling you in- it’s God pulling you to Himself… His designs found in the beauty of nature are messages to our souls. These messages say, •I love you. •I’m here. •Look to me. •Listen for my voice. People design their vacation homes all around the world to take a front seat to God’s creation. They may not know that’s what they’re looking at. Yet, they’re drawn to it. Beauty and goodness come from God. His hand has made beautiful things. John 1:3 “Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made.” You may feel peaceful and serene when you’re in the middle of the beautiful mountains, jungles, beaches, or even deserts. Something is pulling on your spirit and makes you feel like there is more to life. That is God’s spirit pulling on you. Job 12: 7-10 “But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this? In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.” Psalm 95: 4-5 “In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him.  The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.” Romans 1:20 “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.”
